Privacy notice
How we process the personal data of people who visit this website or contact the studio, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
This is a translation: if the two versions differ, the Italian text prevails.
Data controller
The data controller is Studio Rodighiero Associati srl, Piazzale Resistenza 12, 46043 Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN), Italy, VAT number IT01846050209.
For any question about your data, you can write to info@rodighiero.design or call +39 0376 638883.
What data we process
- Browsing data. The servers hosting the website automatically record, in their technical logs, data such as the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the browser and the operating system. These data are needed for the website to work and to keep it secure, and are not used to identify visitors.
- Data you give us. If you write to us or call us using the contact details on the website, we process the data you provide: name, contact details and the content of your request. The website has no contact forms, no private areas and no registration.
- Statistical data, only with your consent. If you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics collects data on how the website is used: pages viewed, length of visit, referral source, type of device and approximate geographical location. Without your consent, no Google script is loaded.
- Translation, only on request. The Italian and English versions are written by the studio. If you choose another language, the website loads the GTranslate service, which uses Google’s machine translation: the text of the page and technical connection data, such as your IP address, are sent to the service’s servers.
- Preferences saved in your browser. Your accessibility preferences, your language and your cookie choice are stored on your device and are not sent to us. Details are on the Cookies and preferences page.
Providing data is optional, but without your contact details we cannot reply to your requests. We do not use data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Purposes and legal bases
- Operation and security of the website: the studio’s legitimate interest in offering a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to your requests and preparing proposals: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Usage statistics: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Page translation: legitimate interest in providing the service you have chosen to activate (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligations, for example tax and accounting, if your request leads to an appointment (Article 6(1)(c)).
Who data may be shared with
Data are processed by authorised studio staff and may be processed on our behalf by suppliers acting as data processors:
- the provider of website hosting and email services;
- Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics statistics, only with your consent;
- the provider of the GTranslate translation service and Google, only when you choose a language other than Italian or English;
- consultants and professionals who assist the studio with its legal obligations.
Data are not disclosed to the public or sold.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google Analytics and Google’s machine translation may involve the transfer of data to the United States, to Google LLC. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google has signed up, and on the further safeguards provided by the GDPR. Google’s terms are described in the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
How long we keep data
- Technical logs: for the period set by the hosting provider for security purposes, unless needed to investigate offences.
- Correspondence: for as long as needed to reply to and manage your request; if it leads to an appointment, for the periods required by law for accounting and professional records.
- Statistics: Google Analytics keeps data for the period set in the service, no longer than 14 months.
- Preferences in your browser: until you delete them; your cookie choice is requested again after six months.
Your rights
At any time you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to statistics from “Cookie preferences”.
To exercise your rights, write to info@rodighiero.design: we reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (opens in a new tab), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
Updates
This notice may be updated if the website, the services it uses or the law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
